#1 has already soaked in all three layers of oil and was ready to be tested. My first impression was very good. The paddle is light, responsive, a bit faster than my carbon NLP due to much flatter surface and, most importantly, it floats well! I did not like few things on it. Had to take off few layers of wood – it got thinner, lighter and more fragile. Also, I changed shoulders a bit so it is more comfortable to hold. Tried all 5 grips that I know of, and it worked good. The weight is about 900gr but after reshaping it should be much lighter. It is definitely a very delicate piece…so it is time to learn to be tender…It is soaking new oils again and will be ready to be tested this Friday.

Dnes jsem poprvé zkoušel pádlo #1.
Byl jsem překvapen, že se mi povedlo udělat funkční kus. Pádlovalo se výborně. Na rozdíl od mého karbonového NLP, #1 je rychlejší díky tomu, že je placatější. Váží něco přes 900gr. Při pádlování jsem zkoušel 5 různých úchytu a vše funguje. Pár věci se mi nelíbilo a tak jsem to trochu upravil – ztenčil, obrousil, upravil úchyty a tak mám opravdu lehké pádlo. Momentálně pádlo nasákavá olej a v pátek bude připraveno k testování.
